Ms. Lisa Mihlbauer, Clinical Associate Professor & Director of RN-to-BSN Completion Programs, is an exemplary faculty member at UW-Milwaukee College of Nursing. She began at the College in 1980 as a Teaching Assistant while in graduate school.  Ms. Mihlbauer played an instrumental role in the creation of the BSN Completion FLEX-ible Option Program and has been the BSN Capstone faculty member for all 170 of our FLEX graduates to date. In 2015 she was appointed RN-BSN Program Director and has grown that program from an initial 8 students to more than 250 today. She was one of the first Certified Nurse Educators in the College and started the Nurse Educator Academy for faculty and IAS staff development.  Ms. Mihlbauer has touched the lives and careers of literally thousands of students and has always provided the highest quality education while pushing boundaries and stretching our profession and our University in ways that help us reach more students where students want and can learn.
