Lisa was nominated by the mother of a NICU patient who felt her passionate and kind-hearted ways on more than one occasion. Three years ago, Lisa cared for the mother's first born child in the NICU and most recently her newborn son.
"Lisa was so compassionate of my situation and let me take my son into the breastfeeding room for some one-on-one bonding time even though I could not breastfeed," said the mother. "At three weeks, I got to spend eight hours of quality alone time with my son for the first time in his life."
Lisa has touched the hearts of this family and for that they will always be grateful.
