Lisa was right on top of it, offering support and working on her end with phone calls to the Doctor to make sure any options were available to me at any time.
Lisa was my day nurse after my delivery. Lisa was very attentive to detail as far as the everyday checking. What sets Lisa apart from the average nurse is her personality. Lisa is certainly not old enough to be my mother, but she offers loving and motherly instincts through her care. This was beyond important to me, since my mother could not be here to share my birthing experience with me. Lisa made me feel good through her personal stories and just her bright personality. You can tell how much she loves her daughter, which made me want to snuggle my baby even more. Lisa went above and beyond when she began to notice my anxiety kicking in. Lisa was right on top of it, offering support and working on her end with phone calls to the Doctor to make sure any options were available to me at any time. She was able to listen, offer advice, and talk me down from my anxiety and let me know my feelings were normal and that I wasn't alone in this. Lisa is very special to your staff, and I want to make sure this doesn't go unnoticed. Honestly, the whole staff was fantastic, but I really wanted to give a shout out to the extra touch Lisa provided.

I gave birth to twins and Lisa was an incredible nurse! From the moment I got up to my room, she kept me calm and laughing at the same time. When you are about to have twins, it can be scary, and she made me feel so at peace and I appreciate that very much. When I got my spinal, she had me wrap my arms around her and talked me through it. After we had our babies, we were so lucky that we got to have her as our post-partum nurse as well! She ordered breakfast for my husband and I (we got to the hospital around 5:30 AM and were starving by the time the babies were born). She checked on me throughout the day and I could not imagine a better nurse. Lake Norman Regional Medical Center is so lucky to have her. This was almost a year ago, but she made such an impression on me, and I am so thankful she was with us that day!
