Lisa Pyper developed a very special relationship with a wound care patient who resides in a group home and who needed a professional, empathetic support system after completing her wound program. Lisa organized the staff to provide the group home birthday celebrations, painting parties and pot-luck get together. All of Lisa's efforts were well received, inspiring the patient to join the NMC volunteer program. Lisa's gift of time and talent has now inspired the patient to do the same.
