Lisa Roxworthy, BSN, RN

Lisa’s story stands out as an outstanding complement to her character and her compassion. She was first nominated by a member of her team and quickly we received a letter from a patient’s friend. Lisa cared for a patient who was visiting from out of town, and she made it her personal responsibility to ensure safe travels back home. At the end of her shift, Lisa offered to assist with transportation to the airport for this patient. She saw how important catching a nearing flight was for her patient and ensured her safe arrival. The nomination detailed how caring and comforting she was, but more importantly, how she really ensured that the patient's needs were met. We are proud to have her on the team!
