Lisa Sabatino is a very caring and giving nurse. She is always polite to her patients. She thoroughly explains everything to her patients especially the reason for the care she is providing. She is a family advocate and keeps in close contact with her families and updates them as to what is happening with their loved ones and their care. She is very understanding to her patient’s needs and strives to attend to all their physical as well as emotional needs. Lisa is extremely aware of her surroundings and never sits idle. When not directly caring for a patient she is helping her coworkers. Many of Lisa’s patients and their families send her cards of thanks after discharge. She makes a connection with them, especially with the pediatric population. She speaks kindly and directly to them in a non threatening way. Lisa is interested in learning and has attended many extra critical care education offerings to keep her skills up to par. It is a great pleasure to have her as a co worker and fellow nurse.
