My husband was in a coma. He was being kept alive by the machine. Doc said I did not look good. Nurse Lisa made sure we had warm blankets, pillows and spoke to us in a way we could really understand. She knew I, the wife, was in shock and denial made me feel so comfortable without me even realizing it.

She showed so much compassion and concern. The big thing was anticipating our needs and advocating for us. We had other nurses who did their job, no problem. Nurse Lisa showed us, me devastated, such hope and care which helped me get it together.
