Lisa Sanchez, BSN, RN
I am a second-year Resident Doctor, a husband, and a father of five children. In May 2021, our fifth child was born at Northeast Hospital. During the induction, Lisa showed extraordinary compassion to my wife. Lisa was very attentive to detail and she explained well. Lisa kept a constant eye on my wife to make sure that her delivery goes well. After my wife delivered our baby, Lisa discovered excessive bleeding and she immediately responded appropriately. She continuously monitored my wife and attempted to stop the bleeding. My wife lost 1500 ml of blood and her hemoglobin dropped to 8.5 GB. Lisa continuously assessed the situation and worked with her team to stop the bleeding. The next day, Lisa continued to monitor my wife's status making sure that my wife got all appropriate treatment to regain her energy. Lisa saved my wife, my baby, and my family. Lisa inspires me to serve with grateful compassion as a doctor. Thank you Lisa for being an awesome nurse!
