I was called in on Christmas Day to assist with a procedure on a patient Lisa Thomas was caring for. This wasn't just any patient; this was a gentleman who experienced an unfortunate, terminal event and was now an organ donor. Needless to say, this patient and their family required a great deal of extra time, care, and compassion. All of which Lisa so proficiently provided. I couldn't help but admire her professionalism, calm demeanor, and empathy while interacting with her patient and his family. The support, care, and compassion she provided this family during this difficult time was immeasurable. I can only hope that Lisa, or a nurse with the same character and morals, will care for myself or my family members if they ever become a patient. Job well done, Lisa! Keep being you, and continue to provide the best care possible! I appreciate you!
