Lisa is one of those nurses on our floor who is a resource for everyone. Her years of experience and the calm manner that she exudes make her approachable and an asset to our unit. I have seen her in many leadership roles as a Charge Nurse, preceptor, and role model, and she excels in all of them. Countless times, Lisa has picked up extra shifts or stayed longer when the floor was short-staffed. She did this not only for the sake of patient safety but also to lessen the burdens of her colleagues.
