Lisa is a nurse that always going above and beyond for her patients. She always has a smile on her face and is able to keep her composure during times of crisis. A patient's mother states when her 4-year-old daughter was brought to the Pediatric ER for a head injury, Lisa was able to help her, and her daughter, remain calm by sharing her personal stories and talking to the daughter throughout the whole process. Lisa makes you feel you are the only patient she has, which I know isn't true. She truly takes her time to make the patients she care for comfortable with her friendly demeanor.

Lisa could connect with my son, who was going through a mental health crisis that we could not control at home. She took her time talking to him and related examples to his level, which he understood. She was positive, which made my son hopeful. In addition, she attended to my needs by getting me a lounger and blanket to rest while I was with my child. I am so thankful for Lisa's professionalism, positive attitude, and exemplary care we received. She was exactly what we needed.
