My grandson was very discouraged because he had a bacterial infection and could not go home. This was the 2nd time that he could not be discharged due to spiking fevers. This was his 48th day in the hospital. His skin was peeling very badly and he was upset about his appearance. The nurse talked to him about what he could do to help his skin condition. She explained each of the medications and helped him put them on. Afterwards he felt better, went for a walk and had a smile on his face.
