I have worked at Saint Thomas Hickman for over 4 years. I had some life-changing issues with my blood pressure just over one year ago. It scared me and I felt awful all the time. I had to spend some time in the hospital for my blood pressure when it went over 200. I was monitored for a couple of days until my pressure came down. Many nurses came and went, especially ones I talk to daily, but only one I felt ever took time to care for me emotionally. Lisa understood I was scared and talked about things to reassure me that everything would be just fine. Lisa took the time to care for my fears and settled them. Caring on an emotional level and not just on numbers and vitals. Her heart is into caring for others. It's a very rare thing to see such dedication to caring for people.
