lisa sundean, PhD, RN

Lisa Sundean has a BSN, master's degrees in both nursing science and health administration, and a Ph.D. in Nursing from the University of Connecticut. She is a Jonas Leadership Scholar alumna, an Associate Member of the New York Academy of Medicine, a consultant for the Center to Champion Nursing in America, co-chair of the Impact Work Group of the Nurses on Boards Coalition, and former director of the Connecticut Nursing Collaborative-Action Coalition. Dr. Sundean's activities have related to promoting, advocating for, and studying nurse board leadership; and some of the historical roots of nurse leadership in health care in the U.S., and excellence in nurse education.
