Life got the best of me since having my son in May! (#3 so life had to go on)...I still want to nominate Lisa the mother baby overnight RN. I'm hoping she is still there. She was phenomenal. I am a nurse and she made me feel so welcomed and made my life so much easier. My 3 child was a last-minute c-section I was not prepared for. She came in, realized I was a nurse, explained everything to me simply, and immediately took over helping both nights I was there after my husband left. She took my son so I could shower since my husband had to go be with our other 2 and didn't even hesitate when I asked for formula since he was having trouble latching. She stepped in to help and even got lactation to come to see me the next morning first thing. She was so caring and made me feel so much better about having my section since I have never had one. I've fully recovered even after having my gallbladder out 2 weeks later and I still think she deserves this award and still tell people about my interaction with her.
