A patient was in the preop holding area waiting for an Endoscopy procedure. This patient was very sick and was losing a lot of blood. The patient was receiving blood at the time and Lisa knowing he was very sick put in another IV. Lisa comforted and reassured the patient while in the preop area and was exceptionally kind. She offered to call his family, but he declined. He ended up coding and passed away the next day. For his last experience here at BRMC he was shown nothing but kindness and professionalism. Lisa is a true DAISY Nurse.
