Lisa Toomey, RN, OCN

Lisa of the Oncology Department at Whidbey Island Hospital went above and beyond what was expected. She showed a great deal of compassion, integrity, devotion, and professionalism in caring for me. I was getting a blood infusion; it was late in the day. I was to be transferred to Surgical Med for the remainder of my infusion. The Doctor and nurses all left for the day, and nurse Lisa stayed with me in the Oncology Department to make sure that I was OK and not just transferred to different departments. She is a wonderful Lady, a highly motivated, talented, and professional Nurse who is passionate about her job and the patients in her care.
