...I know that you are aware of what your nursing team does. But I would like to bring to your attention, Lisa Toth, RN and speak about her excellent nursing skills, patient, and customer service that she offered not only my 85 year old mother, but the other patients she was responsible for.
Lisa offers a high level of comfort to the patient and their family members. She knows exactly what her patients’ needs are. She administers the medications on time and if my mother was uncomfortable she made sure that she checked why and corrected the issue immediately. For example, my mother was complaining of pain in both arms and that it was hurting her. When Lisa checked she noticed that both needles were not working correctly and noticed fluid was building up and at the time she removed the non-working needles, cleaned the arms and placed pillows underneath the arms to make sure she was comfortable.
Lisa also made me aware that my mother was not eating and would offer her a different meal so that she can have some nutrition. My mother had mentioned to me that this nurse was the only one that cared that she ate and would bring her a plate of food during her shift.
