I would like to recognize all that Lisa has done over the past several months with a long-stay patient. This situation was particularly challenging with several obstacles in the discharge planning/placement process. Throughout this all, she was very caring and patient with this particular patient despite having several setbacks in discharge plans. Lisa has gone above and beyond in helping ensure this patient's comfort while here in the hospital...she helped in purchasing this patient clothing and other supplies needed for life after discharge and even planned and threw this patient a birthday party. As a therapist, I always enjoy working with Lisa and can count on her to keep us up to date on what all our patients need...I often go to her at the beginning of the day to get an update on what the status is on our patients and to see what we need to do to best plan for their discharge planning/therapy needs after leaving the hospital. It is a pleasure to have her to work with and we are lucky to have her!
