Lisa Whatley, RN, has been a member of the Moffitt family since 2007, when she entered and graduated from the Peri-operative Internship Program. Her involvement in unit activities has made Lisa a valuable contributor to the team and to her profession. One peer states, “[Lisa] is involved with Magnet…and was a big part in bringing GE to the O.R.” Lisa successfully combines being a professional contributor with compassionate patient care: one peer states, “ [Lisa] has consistently shown how she can make her experience with her patients a memorable and caring moment…she explains to them that she will always be there…to protect them from any possible harm…”
