She thinks out of the box and individualizes her training tactics to meet the needs of the individual.
Lisa has been with the village for many years, started way back before Vivra, and has stayed on board for over 33 years. She worked as ICHD RN, then transitioned to Home about 20 years ago, and moved from PD RN I to now PDRN III. She is a preceptor and has been involved with the training of many of our PD nurses. I have personally heard from many of her PD patients regarding her caring behavior and patience with administering to their needs.
Lisa has never shied away from tackling difficult trains. She thinks out of the box and individualizes her training tactics to meet the needs of the individual. Just recently she completed a PD train on a blind patient. Despite the difficult visual barriers, Lisa was able to successfully get this patient home, collaborating with vendors, docs, and other outside sources to help this patient succeed in her modality of choice.
I am proud to have such a dedicated nurse on our team.
