Lisann's bedside manner with her patients is enviable and she wishes everyone a speedy recovery. We can all count on her to jump in and help if we are in a bind.
Lisann is a shining star, a ray of sunshine, and most call her our spirit stick. She always has a smile on her face and I personally count on her to make any bad day better. On holidays she will come up with cute little candies, treats and passes them around to everyone. She travels throughout the hospital spreading joy and kindness to others.
For Peri-op nurses week one year, she decorated the staff breakrooms and made a nursing themed station of treats. She put a balloon on everyone's locker with a positive quote. On Halloween, she brought treat buckets for the PACU staff and we all had a "trick-or-treat" where everyone added candy. She inspires us to do for others and to celebrate each other. She will even decorate for the holidays. The patients (especially the children) really enjoy it when they wake up in the hospital and see something that makes them smile. She coordinates an annual football potluck and brings photo props for all of us to take pictures with. She may work in anesthesia, but she is always there for everyone on the 3rd floor.

I think she fits all 5 value categories; Stewardship, Dignity, and excellence are the ones I have given examples of. I truly believe she is like Catherine on a smaller scale. She wants to make others happy; she is always willing to help; she keeps morale and spirits high and she spreads joy and love to all she comes into contact with. She truly makes a difference every day to so many.
