To know her is to know someone special. She is kind. She is smart. She is empathetic. She is extraordinary. This hospital is lucky to have someone like her.
From the moment I met Lisbeth, she made me feel so safe and heard and comfortable. She is extraordinary. She met me the morning I was being told that my son was going up to the NICU. She sat on my bed and hugged me while I sobbed. She took the time to explain to me what was happening and to make sure I felt heard and listened to. She has this extraordinary way of being empathetic and relatable while keeping it focused on me, the patient. She went above and beyond to keep me comfortable and to make sure I knew she was there for me. She helped me. She encouraged me. And she supported me. She brings a smile and an upbeat personality that just made me feel like everything was going to be ok. I requested her for the next day. She was my nurse again and she was again unbelievable. She asked about my son. She made sure I was supported. She reminded me that I needed care too. At a time that I was only thinking of my son, she thought of me. She made sure I had my meds. She made sure I had eaten. She made sure I was cared for. When I had nothing for myself because I was giving everything to my son, she was there for me. She provides such amazing care that I did not even realize she had other patients. She never made me feel rushed or like a number. She knew me. She knew my history. She knew my son. She cared. This isn’t a job to her. This is who she is. Doctors are amazing and we need them. But nurses are special. And Lisbeth is the best of them all. To know her is to know someone special. She is kind. She is smart. She is empathetic. She is extraordinary. This hospital is lucky to have someone like her. This was my second delivery at this hospital and she was the best of the best. I will never forget her kindness, her care, or her.
