Taking a line from Matthew McConaughey "Alright, Alright, Alright" that best describes my RN Lise, she is alright! Lise arrived today with the dual responsibility of charge nurse and my assigned caregiver for the day. I would say that I must be the luckiest patient to be assigned Lise because she is extremely skilled and professional and is able to immediately discern where an issue lies and takes all appropriate steps to first research the background of the issue before working with the parties involved to come to an agreeable solution. I had some concerns regarding my care plan. As an experienced nurse, Lise was instrumental in bringing all those involved into a room for a care plan discussion. The sheer take-charge attitude she displayed shows her position as charge nurse was well earned. Lise's ability to think on her feet and handle any sudden issue is second to her kindness, compassion, and professionalism that are on display daily. A great role model to all nurses new and seasoned. It shows Lise's dedication to not only her patients but coworkers alike.
