Lissa has gone above and beyond to deliver care to a patient who has been noncompliant and sometimes combative. She has taken him as a patient multiple shifts in a row to develop a rapport and trust with him. She spends her shifts sitting with him and walking laps around the floor to avoid the need for restraints or medication intervention. With the extra effort that Lissa has put into caring for this patient she truly exemplifies what great nursing really is.
