Our brother has been at St. David's struggling with end-stage liver cancer and cirrhosis. He has needed so much physical care. Lita was incredibly patient and attentive. He needed to be turned regularly which was difficult since we could not help him. Lita never seemed to mind taking the time to help our brother. She was very careful and thoughtful. She changed the sheets every time there was any residue. She was also the first to identify the beginning of bedsores. She flagged it, took a picture, and referred him to the specialist. Lita was also very kind and patient with our brother who was disoriented. She took the time to explain to him what was going on. We have admired all the nursing staff during our visit to St. David's but Lita stood out for her attention to detail and personal friendliness.
