Liz cared for him for two days and we were so touched by her gentle caring hands.
Liz is so very special. She is a compassionate and caring person. You can easily tell that this is not just a job. She puts her whole heart into everything she does to care for her patients. She not only takes great care of her patients but also takes care of the whole family. She meets their cares and needs also.
We as a family were at your facility during the COVID-19. As a large family, we were greatly accommodated to be able to see our loved one. Liz was a great part of this happening. My husband had fallen and had a severe brain bleed. Due to us living five hours away, the damage was done before arrival and everyone did their best to help so that we were able to be with him in his last hours. Liz cared for him for two days and we were so touched by her gentle caring hands - and so compassionate. I'm a nurse myself and it is rare to see someone that goes the extra mile. We walked with my husband in the walk of honor and I was going to video the process. Liz came and asked me if she would like her to do it for us. She took my phone so she could videotape it for us. My phone went dead and she wasn't able to get it done on my phone so she used her personal phone and videoed it on her phone for us. Then emailed and texted it to me and my daughter. Such a caring act. Please consider Liz for the DAISY Award because she truly does have the healer's touch and for the extraordinary work she does caring for her patient.
