Lizeth is a DAISY Nurse for her willingness, dedication, and experience in working in Preadmit testing during a time that a staff member has been out on leave. Lizeth normally works in Outpatient surgery but has been working full-time in Preadmit testing to ensure our pre-surgery patients are ready for surgery. This requires interviews with patients regarding their medical history, notifying Anesthesia when warranted, and COVID testing. We are grateful that Lizeth has embraced this position with both eagerness and professionalism. She is always ready to adapt to the needs of our department. This ultimately results in a better surgery experience for the patient and their family.
