I was admitted to the hospital for my second time this year for having MRSA and was there for four days. I'm not a hospital person at all and missing days at work added to the stress of it. The first day I had nurse Loan Nguyen care for me made everything easier. I wasn't worried about being in there or what was going on. She always made sure I had what I needed, my IV was always right, had my meds on time, and everything else in between. Loan took time to just sit and speak with me and understand more about why I was there and my stay in the hospital earlier in the year. I didn't have the best overnight one night, for a few reasons. But the next morning when I got up and nurse Loan was there, I just mentioned a few things to her. She made sure those issues didn't happen the rest of my stay and she was attentive to everything I needed and even anything my wife needed. I honestly felt like I owed her something when I finally left because she did way more than I expected or anyone else has ever done for me while in the hospital. I offered to tip her because the service was so impeccable by her, but she refused.
