I’ve been in my role for almost 10 months, and Loida has been an amazing and caring leader. Loida is very empowering towards everyone, she’s very optimistic with me by always telling me 'when you become a nurse', those words motivate me as a first-generation student who has a dream. Since I began here at TCH Loida has been very patient with me by teaching or explaining new skills to me. Working with her on the weekends has exposed me to new experiences by staying with her in the OR, and having an idea of what a circulator and a scrub tech do. Loida gives constructive criticism and has taken me under her wing. I’m very thankful to have a weekend charge nurse like her, she’s very a very strong and knowledgeable nurse.
