Lois has been described as an amazing nurse and a very kind-hearted, compassionate nurse. Recently, Lois had the honor to care for a patient that had multiple health problems over a very long time. The patient and her husband were frustrated and stressed and dealing with a cancer diagnosis.

The first day the husband approached Lois in a very aggressive manner. He was demanding and raising his voice and wanting to be heard. Lois listened and assured the patient and her husband that their concerns will be conveyed to the doctor. The husband sat down and smiled and felt someone was finally listening to him.
