In the emergency room, we received a level 2 trauma alert. London worked diligently during the patient's care as the lead RN to ensure that the patient received the best possible care. London was seen multiple times collaborating with surgeons, emergency room physicians, anesthesia, and other nurses to provide rapid and thorough care. She stayed well after her shift to get the patient to the ICU safely and effectively and then stayed longer to provide adequate documentation. London was seen leaving the hospital at approximately 0145 the next morning and then return to work at 1100 for another 12-hour shift never once seeming tired, frustrated, or worn down despite how she truly felt.
