My child had a very extensive surgery and recovered in the pediatric inpatient unit in Bettendorf. All of our nurses were great, but London went above and beyond. She was attentive to not only my child’s needs but to mine as well. She was punctual with all of our med doses. She helped take a huge load of stress off my plate by being on top of all of my child’s needs! I never had to ask for meds, they were never late, and we received anything else we needed quickly. She walked with my child when they were feeling ready to get up and a little restless. Any time I asked for assistance, she was on top of it. She really made a hard experience that much easier. She was patient with my child, and whenever they were nervous or afraid of what she was doing, she took extra time to talk through it and explained it in a way my child understood. My child even said how amazing she was. Just her being her has impacted my child in such a positive way. I know we will always remember her. I cannot thank her enough for all that she did for us.
