January 2020 Honoree
lora murphy nagy, RN
Lora was informed an expired patient was packed up by a funeral home before NJ Sharing released the body. The family had consented to tissue procurement. Lora spent time making many phone calls to have the body released back to the hospital and was successful. The NJ Sharing Network completed the procurement process. The patient and their family generously gave bone, tendons, and skin, equaling 28 gifts to patients in need. This was the result of Lora's actions. Lora, thank you for making a difference to so many people.
Thank you, Lora, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
