Lora exhibits all of the characteristics of an excellent professional nurse in her practice. She is highly knowledgeable and clinically competent to provide care to complex PCU patients. She listens to her patients and knows them as a person. She is always attentive to the needs of her colleagues. Lora has been a member of the Hospital’s PNC and is a resource person and role model on 3 North and demonstrates leadership skills.

A family member of a current patient commented that when her mom felt scared at times Lora consistently kept her at ease and feeling confident about her progress. She explained everything well and was always working with family and other staff members as one team. The family was so delighted to find out that their mother had Lora for that day.

Another patient’s family member wrote that Lora had been very supportive with their grandma. She took the time to explain things and help them with preparing for hospice. Lora has a very kind heart.
