All of the nurses were fabulous during my stay however a few of them stood out and went above and beyond. One nurse was Loredana. She took care of me when I was extremely ill and septic. I genuinely felt her concern for me. She was in my room the entire night administering multiple IV boluses of albumin, antibiotics, pain and nausea meds, checking my vital signs, and calling physicians to update them and request orders. Anytime I called Loredana, she was always right there for me. She truly was my angel that night. I am not sure how I would have done without her. Loredana's compassion and concern for me were so apparent and I am truly grateful. I cannot express how thankful I was to have her caring for me that night! Thank you! Loredana needs to be recognized for her caring and compassionate nursing. Loredana took care of me two nights during my eight-day hospitalization. She took excellent care of me, making sure I was always comfortable. She spent extra time providing me TLC I needed one night when I was extremely tearful, having pain and not feeling like I was getting any better. Loredana sat on the side of the bed and hugged me. She provided words of encouragement and truly listened to all of my concerns. Her kind soul helped reduce my fears and anxiety which really touched me. We as healthcare providers sometimes forget how it feels to be on the other side of the bed. Not Loredana, she is truly an angel. Thank you for taking great care of me!
