My uncle was admitted from the ER for rectal bleeding. He was admitted and as they were getting him into his room on the 4th floor he required "rapid response". He was moved to 3 Center. During the night, he required another rapid response and was throwing up lots of blood. Lorena was the one who contacted the doctor on a Sunday early morning and convinced him that my uncle's situation was dire and could not wait until Monday. My uncle had a bleeding ulcer which was contained Sunday morning. Several people told me that this nurse is the one who saved my uncle's life. If my uncle did not have the procedure Sunday morning then he would have died. Hugs to Lorena!
