All female staff was busy, but in spite of her busy workload, Lorena came to help me without any hesitance.
I remember one busy day, almost all of our female patients were sick and intubated, and she too was caring for an intubated patient on sedation and inotropes.
I received a female patient from emergency, a case of sepsis. She needed to be intubated and we needed help to move this bedridden patient from the stretcher to the ICU bed.
All female staff was busy, but in spite of her busy workload, she came to help me without any hesitance.
Lorena assisted with intubation, inserting the CVC line and arterial line, all of which took a long time.
In short, Lorena is helping all staff, giving guidance as well as support.
Moreover, as a patient, I was admitted to ED and she was my assigned nurse (she was pull in staff). I was admitted with shortness of breath and tachycardia. Lorena recommended to the doctors to order an arterial blood gas, which showed that my oxygen level was low, helping in my diagnosis.
Thank you.
