While I was at Cumberland Medical Center for about six days after my surgery, Loretta was my nurse often and she was very compassionate, outstanding, and she went above and beyond during my stay at CMC. The thing that stands out most was she encouraged me to get up and walk, which I needed to do but was very painful. Every time she saw me walking, she would tell me how proud she was which made it much easier to do with her encouragement each time.
Loretta was very friendly. Every time I needed something, she always made me feel like I was her only patient. Loretta was just an all-around amazing nurse that I will not forget. She also was training a new nurse for a couple of the days and she was always patient and sweet in the teaching moments. I had different nurses while I was there for recovery but Loretta stands out the most to me and I will never forget her. I will always be grateful for her compassion. She makes me want to be a better nurse myself. Thank you, Loretta!
