I am in my first 8 weeks of the online RN to BSN program and have had a difficult time. Loretta Elder is always fast to respond, helpful, gracious, and informative. I would have quit if not for her. She is very present even though it is an online campus, and I have appreciated her. She also gave feedback on all assignments that had been essential for me to understand and improve my work. She is a huge asset to the online campus..

She has demonstrated a great strength in compassion. Through my difficulties navigating the online campus, she was always available, kind, and responsive when I needed her help. She has demonstrated accountability in how quickly she gets grades to us and with input on how to improve for the next assignment.

This teacher has graded each assignment in a manner that allows me to see where to improve the quality of my work and get a better grade the next time. She responds to emails in record time and is courteous and helpful. She also shares her own views on the subjects she is instructing us on; she has shared her personal philosophy on nursing, as we are just developing our own. This was inspiring to me. I also want to be an educator and hope to do for other students what Ms. Elder has done for me.
