Lori-Ann was the nurse taking care of my friend/sister, K, recently. She was admitted last month and was having breathing issues due to metastatic lung cancer. Lori-Ann took wonderful care of K, always there to listen as well as providing excellent nursing care. She became, according to K's husband, like a part of the family. She was very supportive to her family, as well as, the people who came to visit and sit with K. I found out she has only been a registered nurse for a relatively short time (about 2 years), but her compassion and caring went above and beyond. We need more nurses like Lori-Ann Zarycki.
