Our son was brought into BSA and he was critical on arrival and passed not long after. After we moved upstairs, we knew our son's brain was dead, but our nurse Lori, who cared for him was top notch. She gave him excellent care but also cared for our entire big family. We were devastated, but our time with him was precious. We were able to love on him and talk to him. She never made us feel bad, she treated him like he might get well. She bathed him and talked to us like he was there with words we needed to hear. This is hard for me to put into words, but we feel God sent us an angel to walk us through those hard couple of days. We will always refer to Lori as "Our Lori", who helped us get through.
