Lori Brown, RN

 I was scheduled for an unplanned procedure due to a complication from a previous procedure. As a result, I was incredibly nervous and a little angry when I arrived. My RN, Lori, escorted me back to the surgical prep area. What impressed me the most was that she immediately distracted me and had me laughing before we ever made it to the bed. Throughout the entire prep process, she kept me calm and even had my husband laughing. It seemed so effortless for her. I also work with the public and understand the challenges that come with that. I appreciate Lori's positive attitude and sense of humor at a time when I needed it the most. Barnes Jewish is fortunate to have such an amazing person on staff.
