Lori Burrows is our Patient Care Coordinator in the Birth Center. A lot of days our job is full of happy moments, but sometimes we deal with the saddest moments. One day in May we had a patient who was 37 weeks pregnant and diagnosed in the office with a fetal demise. She came to us for an induction and delivered a beautiful stillborn baby boy shortly after midnight. When things like this happen we do our best to give them as many memories as we can, including photos. Sometimes we are fortunate and have a photographer who does this but for this instance, we weren't able to find someone. Lori is an amateur photographer and with the patient's permission, she came in at 0100 to take some beautiful photos for the family. I know how grateful the family was for these only photos of their baby boy. Lori went above and beyond for this family and I know they will forever be grateful.
