Lori is a pro that's all there is to it. She had it all - the skill, the confidence, the bedside manner, the true heart and grit combined, genuine caring, the ability to laugh and be genuine, and most of all a positive, hard-working work ethic and as her tattoo says, hope and faith that a patient, despite the situation always had the ability to heal. She believes in miracles. That trait and all the aforementioned qualities make a true DAISY Nurse. Her personal stories that she is willing to share with patient families help us in our most scary and vulnerable time. It is such a rare person who equally can be skillful and compassionate and caring. I am impressed by Lori's deft hand at nursing and how she flawlessly delivers that care while keeping her smile and positive attitude. God bless Lori, who is a shining star and a tribute to her dear mother (whom she told me about) and who taught her about caring for others and helping them reach their goals and dreams.
