Lori Chan, RN, BSN, CPN, CRRN has been working at CHLA for the last 30 years. Her dedication, commitment and compassion have been exemplified through the way she treats her patients, families, and co-workers. As a Clin III, she has precepted several experienced nurses as well as new RN residents. She is an excellent resource not only for the nurses she has precepted and mentored but also for entire rehab team.
Lori is detail-oriented and meticulous with the care she provides and she is a great advocate for all patients and families. She goes above and beyond her daily tasks to stop and listen to a child's story, to cheer up a patient by spending time with them during their afternoon snack, or to provide comfort to a troubled family member.
We are honored to have such an amazing individual who consistently demonstrates the mission, vision, and values of CHLA every day.
