One nurse I feel really stands out above the rest; Lori Domblesky. From the first moment I met her, there was instant patient-nurse rapport that took away all of my anxiety of being in the hospital for the first time ever. Her comforting voice, sincere concern for the welfare of the patient, gentle touch and bedside manner took a potentially bad/scary experience and turned it into a memorable one. It is my wish that Lori be presented with the DAISY Award for exceptional, professional and personable treatment of the patient.
