You can tell Lori loves what she's doing because she enters the room with a smile. So you feel better just when she enters the room. When she comes in you feel like everything is going to be okay. She knows her work and you can tell she has learned from all her patients.  She has that empathy for it too. I've been in the hospital enough to know not everyone has the empathetic factor. By her being in touch with me, the patient, she can meet my needs and concerns. And when I didn't know how to put it into words, she was able to. I felt more comfortable knowing she was on the floor. It's like she can read your mind, and she could also read your expressions to understand your pain level. She never pushed me or left me hanging. I wish more nurses would be like her. I feel like the care you get is a large percentage of your recovery. I feel also she's had many years of experience that she comes to teach others. Share the special gift she has. She made me feel when she was there everything will be okay. She definitely feels for her patients.
