It takes a special type of person to show up at work every day ready to support a family during the birth of their child. It's even more impressive when that person is ready and willing to guide a new nurse through the entire process. Lori didn't skip a beat keeping us comfortable and guiding her partner through the process flawlessly. At the same time, she provided extreme kindness and kept us calm and confident throughout the birthing process and into the morning. Seeing Lori return the next evening assured me that another comfortable night was in order.
Lori had respect to allow us to navigate the birth process during her shift but eagerly provided any assistance when needed. All nurses involved during our stay were very helpful and could all be recognized for their help. However, Lori's professionalism and care for us will not be forgotten and I can only hope Lori remains here for future visits.
