Lori Leggett, RN
It’s rare that you come across a leader who checks every box. It takes a truly special person to excel in all the areas required of a leadership position. This leader is talented at balancing priorities, and she produces results on every project.
More importantly, every team she leads loves her, and people genuinely want to work for her and with her. Lori Leggett is engaging and fun but also knows how to pivot and get things done in a collaborative way. She is resourceful and has a real talent for being handed nothing and turning it into something.
She is full of both grit and poise – she is simply amazing. Every task she is handed (and she is handed a lot!) is tackled with enthusiasm and earnestness.
Sometimes it’s easy to lose sight of what matters during the bustle of day-to-day leadership, but Lori never forgets what is important – compassion and kindness for those around her. The well-being of her staff is truly what wakes her up in the morning and keeps her coming into work each day.
Beyond all her routine responsibilities, Lori still finds time to serve as a mentor and role model for emerging new leaders. She always makes herself available to answer questions or offer advice if asked. She pours so much of herself into her staff that she inspires them to succeed.
I can think of no better candidate, and it’s with love, gratitude, and admiration that I commend Lori Leggett.
